“Hark, a Shakespeare-themed musical at Canada’s premiere destination for Shakespeare! “Something Rotten!” features an electric score, endless one-liners and a musical number about eggs. (Yes, really.) Donne Feore returns to the Stratford Festival to direct a stacked cast of dancers and power belters in what looks to be a highlight of this year’s season.

 8:30 a.m. load coach at Staples, 1899 Algonquin Avenue. Carpool if you can!

There will be a one-hour lunch break at Innisfil enroute (New York Fries, Burger World, Starbucks, Fresh Market, Tim Horton).

Stop at Picard’s Peanuts, family-owned, Ontario grown peanuts.

 It’s Market Day!

7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. full breakfast in The Bistro (included).

8:00 a.m. the Ontario Livestock Exchange and St. Jacobs Farmers Market open. St. Jacobs Farmers Market, 878 Weber Street:  Canada’s largest year-round market.  Showcases hundreds of food vendors, arts & crafts, fashion & décor, farm fresh food items.  Animal

9:50 a.m. board coach at hotel.

10:00 a.m.  Mennonite Countryside Tour with our Guide, “Steve”.  Highlights include Kitchen Kuttings Café & Store, The Kissing Bridge, passing by an Old Order Mennonite Church and school & more. Enjoy the beautiful scenery that this rural area has to offer.

12:15 p.m.to 12:30 p.m. arrive at Anna Mae’s Bakery & Restaurant in Millbank.  Lunch included.

2:30 p.m. arrive hotel.  Time to freshen up for our evening in Stratford.

4:15 p.m. board coach.

4:30 p.m. depart for Stratford.

5:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. dinner in the Churchill Room at the Parlour Inn (included).

The coach will be waiting to take you the short distance to the internationally renowned Stratford Festival Theatre.

8:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.  Enjoy the performance!

Friday, September 20

 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. full breakfast in The Bistro (included).

9:40 a.m. please bring your luggage to the coach for loading.

10:00 a.m. depart hotel.

Free time in the Village of St. Jacobs.  This popular and charming community is steeped in history and set in a charming location along the Conestoga River.  It is well-known for its dozens of independent, one-of a-kind shops, galleries, craft shops, and Block Three Brewery.  Visit THE MILL, where you’ll find the Maple Syrup Museum and a Train Exhibit.

Popular places to eat:  Java Garden, Jacob’s Grill, Harvest Moon, the Fritter Company, the Tasting House, the Village Biergarten, Those Pizza Guys, Eco Café, the Charcuterie Bar, the Tamale Girl

FYI:  Once the train schedule is available, we hope to offer one-way transportation on Waterloo Central Railway’s heritage train from St. Jacobs Village Station to Elmira Station.

 2:00 p.m. depart for North Bay.

Stop at Tim Horton in Bracebridge.

7:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m. approximately, arrive North Bay.
